Case study — Mariam Mechael
LiveA realtor site that sells the agent, not the listings.
Mariam Mechael sells across San Diego — the coast, Mount Helix, East County — in three languages. She was on a Wix template that looked like every other agent in the county. We rebuilt the whole thing as a multi-page site with a property search, neighbourhood guides, and a home-valuation funnel.

The problem with agent websites.
Real estate sites are interchangeable because they are all the same IDX template with a headshot dropped in. But a buyer is not choosing a listings feed — every agent has the same listings. They are choosing a person. The rebuild is organised around that: the agent is the product, and the inventory is the proof.
The design runs two registers against each other — dark and cinematic for the hero and neighbourhood work, ivory and editorial for the reading sections — so a long page stays interesting without resorting to stock imagery. Typography is self-hosted rather than pulled from Google Fonts, which keeps it fast and keeps the look consistent.
Three languages, first-class.
Mariam works in English, Arabic, and Syriac (Neo-Aramaic), and in East County that is not a footnote — it is the reason a family calls her instead of someone else. The language switch sits in the hero rather than being hidden in a menu, and the right-to-left scripts are rendered properly rather than shoehorned into a left-to-right layout.
Search, guides, and a reason to hand over an address.
The site has a full property search interface — buy, rent, and recently sold, filtered by area, price band, and beds — plus neighbourhood guides that give the site something to rank for beyond the agent's name, and a journal for market commentary.
The home-valuation flow is the conversion path that actually matters: a homeowner who wants a number is a seller lead, and that form is reachable from every page including the mobile nav.
What is live, and what is next.
Being straight about status: the search interface is built and working, but it is running against demo inventory — connecting the live IDX feed, and wiring the enquiry forms into a CRM, is the next phase. Everything else on the site is real and in production.
The site is live on a subdomain while the mariammechael.com domain finishes transferring off Wix.
