Case study — Mercado Shores Liquor & Market
LiveThe corner store by the sand, finally findable.
Mercado Shores is a family-owned liquor store and market on 7th Street in Imperial Beach, open late seven nights a week. It had no website — just a pin on a map. We built a single page that answers everything a customer wants to know before they walk down.

A one-pager, done properly.
Not every business needs ten pages. A neighbourhood store needs one page that loads instantly and answers five questions: what is this, are you open, what do you carry, can you deliver, and where are you. Anything past that is padding that gets in the way.
So the site is a single scroll — the store, what they carry, reviews, delivery, and find us — with a persistent bar carrying the address, phone number, and delivery link no matter where you are on the page.
Dusk, because that is when they are busy.
The palette is built around the hour the store actually trades in: late evening, beach town, warm light against a dark sky. The wordmark is set letter-by-letter across the top so the name reads as signage rather than as a logo file. It is a small store, and the design leans into that rather than pretending to be a chain.
Built for "liquor store near me".
The whole point of this site is local search, so the plumbing matters more than the pixels: structured data describing the business, its address, and its hours; the real street address and phone number in the markup rather than baked into an image; and delivery handoffs to the platforms they already use.
The categories on the page are written the way people search — spirits, local craft beer, wine, cigars, snacks — rather than as an internal product taxonomy.
Scope of the build.

- Live hours
- Delivery links
